FC Sevilla: UEFA Champions Yet Again

In a scintillating finish at Glasgow, UEFA Cup holders FC Sevilla successfully defended their title against a gritty Espanyol side that came back twice in the game to send it to Penalty Kicks. (Video highlights below)

An all around magnificent performance by both teams, highlighted by goals in the 105th minute by Kanoute to give Sevilla the lead and in the 115th minute by Espanyol's Jonatas to extend the UEFA madness even further.
Sevilla's goalkeeper, Andres Palop, rose above the occasion in penalty kicks, stopping three out of four attempts and giving the Sevilla faithful a reason to celebrate the night away for the second straight year.

Although Sevilla was heavily favored coming in to the match, hats have to come off for Espanyol's play throughout the tournament. Not given much of a chance in each stage of the UEFA Cup, the Spanish club successfully maneuvered against Benfica and Werder Bremen to reach the final match. Both Spanish squads put on a delightful display of football however - end to end play with non-stop attacking offense. Truly a thrill to watch.
Here are the highlights of the Penalty Kicks:
